This sessions happens 8AM BST Mon-Fri and Sunday.
***Tantric Breathwork to activate your energy***
***Powerful awakening of all energy centers***
***Meditation to ground in your expanded state of being***
Bring powerful transformational tantric practices into your everylife to transform from the inside out.
[Watch a video explaining the transformational power of these practices](https://www.instagram.com/tv/Cqk_UvNI47N/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=)
### *What we will practice*
*All practices are based on 3 pillars: **breath, sound and movement**. It allows the current of energy to flow freely in your body. **Agni Chandra curates each session** based on:*
* *meditative presence*
* *conscious connected breath*
* *yogic breathing*
* *undulation of the spine*
* \*application of energetic locks \*
*Practices are based on the **principle of deep connection with the body through felt sense.** We **activate our primal energy** and we **channel it up the spine** to the heart and higher energy centers.*
### *Introduction to the 4 Practices of Daily Tantric Devotion*
*With **Tantric Breathwork** practices we ground ourselves in the presence through the body. We open to the flow of life through conscious connected breath. The flow of energy that comes with the breath and spinal undulation redirects our sexual energy to the heart and higher energy centers. You are guided into the pure experience through the body to finally transcend the body into the meditative state of being.*
***Free Voicing*** *is a practice that opens up one of the most contracted energy centers - the throat. After grounding and heart centering meditation, we open the pathway of the breath using ancient yogic breathing. That allows the body to reconnect with the most healthy and beneficial way of breathing that is often forgotten.*

Discover the Isle of Portland, the southernmost point of the Jurassic Coast UNESCO World Heritage Site and the venue for sailing events during the 2012 Olympics!
The Isle of Portland is 6 kilometres long by 3 kilometres wide and is connected to the mainland by the breath-taking sweep of the shingle ridge of Chesil Beach. On this walk, we'll explore dramatic, rugged limestone cliffs and hidden coves, and enjoy stunning coastal views and landscapes shaped by centuries of military activity, farming, fishing and quarrying. Did you know that the world-famous Portland stone has been quarried here since Roman times, and many famous buildings – including St Paul's Cathedral, the British Museum, Tower Bridge and the United Nations headquarters in New York – were built using it?
The hike will finish at the fishing village of Chiswell, where we'll enjoy well-deserved drinks and refreshments next to Chesil Beach – one of the best sunset locations in Dorset. Don’t miss this unique opportunity – it’s the only time of year we can experience the sunset on this route, with sunset at 17:00! 🌅
HIKE HIGHLIGHTS
Breath-taking clifftop views along Chesil Beach and the Fleet Lagoon
Small secluded beach at Church Ope Cove
Pulpit Rock and Portland Bill Lighthouse
Dramatic views to the cliffs of Purbeck and Portland Harbour
The “Spirit of Portland” sculpture which depicts a fisherman and a quarryman to represent the two main industries of the Isle
Tout Quarry Sculpture Park – a former quarry that is now home to over 60 sculptures, carved from Portland stone

The White Cliffs of Dover: Dover to Deal in the winter
Alright guys, some of you have asked me to do it again as it is my most popular and one of my most beautiful hikes, so here we go! I am taking you again to hike the White cliffs, my top number 1 hike. This hike is always full and there is a reason to this, it is just a fantastic place and one of the most beautiful in England. And as for now, it is supposed to be a sunny day!
One of Britain's most popular locations and a well known view from the mainland tourists who travel through the English Channel from France, Belgium or the Netherlands . The chalk cliffs between Dover and Deal are a stunning location with some marvellous Sea views and seaside towns .
You will see castles, beaches and will cross path with its inhabitants, the ravens, peregrine falcons or long eared owls if we are lucky. We have also been lucky a couple of times with the visit of harbour porpoises and Common dolphins who often swim along the coast.
The landscapes are some of my favourite, and this trail is a feel good hike where you will be able to see the white and grey cliffs of France just across the sea on a clear day once we have reached the cliff top.
We will have a proper break on the beach at St Margaret Bay where you could grab a hotdogs, ice cream or a pint of beer in the pub that is the closest to mainland Europe...
As always, we will hike, we will laugh and we are likely to end the trip at a restaurant afterwards, so get ready for a lovely day out with stunning views! We will finish the trip at a delightful Turkish restaurant, one of my favourites with those who wish to enjoy the day to the fullest

**Want to practise your boat handling skills or gain more confidence parking yachts in marinas? Fancy refreshing your night sailing skills? Join us for a busy 24 hours to do both, in time for a new sailing season.**
Parking a boat and night sailing are two of the things we learn on our Day Skipper course, but they can continue to cause anxiety even for experienced sailors. To give club members an opportunity to practise these skills before a new sailing season gets underway in earnest, we're running two training days in February - this page is for the trip on Friday / Saturday but [click here](https://www.londonsailing.club/Events/Calendar/View?id=199) if you would prefer to come on Saturday / Sunday.
This is a non-commercial trip costing £130 run on a shared-cost basis.
*Plan*
Arrive at Port Hamble marina for a quick dinner (not included in the event cost), an evening briefing, and few hours of night sailing in the Solent. After returning to the marina, the following day will be spent practising close quarters boat handling, including berthing/unberthing the yacht in various scenarios and different states of tide. If there is time there may be an opportunity to practise other skills like MOB recovery or mooring under sail but the focus will be on close quarters manoeuvring. The boat will return to the marina for a quick tidy-up, and you should be free to leave by 4pm.
No formal instruction will be offered, and everyone aboard will do an equal share of the driving and the leading of the manoeuvres. Simon Tottman will act as the Skipper and will have final say on the itinerary. The weekend is being organised by Club Chair Maurice MacSweeney.
*Participants*
This event is not suitable for beginners and those attending will already need to have had some sailing experience, and most likely will have completed a Day Skipper practical course. Priority will be given to those participating in the club's Take The Helm programme, and those who have expressed interest in skippering for future club trips.
We want to give as many members as possible the opportunity to practise their skills, so whilst you are welcome to express interest in attending both days, we may not be able to confirm your place for the [2nd day](https://www.londonsailing.club/Events/Calendar/View?id=199) until nearer the time.
*Yacht*
We’ve chartered a 37ft Beneteau Oceanis. It's coded for 8 people but we'll be a maximum of 5 plus skipper to ensure everyone has enough space and plenty of time on the helm. Accommodation will be aboard the yacht in shared double cabins.
*Skipper*
This event is skippered by club member and former Chair Simon Tottman, who has skippered well over 200 days / 5000 miles on yachts from 37’ to 53’, mainly in the Solent but also in the Med and Caribbean, as well as skippering Round the Island and Cowes Week races and crewing across the Atlantic. Simon holds the RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, Yachtmaster Instructor, VHF, PB2, First Aid, Sea Survival and Offshore Safety qualifications.
*Kit*
No special or expensive sailing kit required! Just bring practical footwear and warm clothing to suit the weather forecast - you're likely to need warm layers. Lifejackets are provided. Foul weather gear can be hired locally if needed. Towels and bedding aren’t provided, so please bring a towel, pillow and sleeping bag. Don't forget to bring some gloves, a warm hat and, if you have one, a headtorch with a red light.
*Cost*
This is a non-commercial trip run on a shared-cost basis. The cost is £130 per person, which covers the yacht charter, fuel, marina/harbour fees, breakfasts, lunches, snacks and soft drinks, and a £5 contribution to the club's Muck Up Fund which allows us to help skippers on club trips manage the risk of accidental damage caused by trip participants. The event fee doesn’t cover evening meals or getting yourself to/from the trip. We ask for the full amount up front to secure your place. Note that, because this trip is being advertised via the London Sailing Club’s platforms, any participant who is not already a full member of the Club (which costs £24 per year) will need to join prior to the start of the trip.
London Sailing Club terms and conditions apply.

**London Sailing Club Taster Day**
Have you been along to one of our socials and heard about our sailing trips, or seen club trips advertised on Meetup or our club's website, but you're not quite sure whether it's for you? Here is your chance to try out sailing with the club without committing to a multi-day trip. We're sure you're going to love it out on the water with us, and will want to come out with us again!
For insurance reasons all participants in club trips must be adults and full members of the club (annual membership fee is £24). We're confident you will have a great time and will want to come and sail with us again, but we're happy to refund your membership fee if, after your taster day, you decide membership is not for you.
Membership benefits include the ability to join sailing trips in the UK, the Mediterranean and other European destinations, sailing skills weekends, lots of varied social events, free online Theory classes, access to our "Take The Helm" coaching programme to help you develop practical skippering experience after obtaining Day Skipper, special discounts on occasional RYA training from accredited schools, and up to 15% discount on bareboat chartering with partner companies.
*Taster Day Plan*
We will meet at Port Hamble Marina at 9am for introductions and a safety briefing aboard the yacht. Parking is available at the marina. We'll aim to set off before 10am to make the most of a day sailing on the Solent. Depending on the weather and the wind we might drop anchor for lunch, after which we'll make our way back to Port Hamble Marina and be off the boats around 4.00pm. Participants are welcome to stay on for drinks in the marina bar where they will likely meet other club members.
If getting to Port Hamble by 9am is likely to be difficult, you are welcome to stay on the yacht the night before for an additional £20. Accommodation is in shared double cabins, though if fewer than 3 people request this option you may well have your own cabin.
First time sailors may wish to [take a look at our list of FAQs](https://www.londonsailing.club/Cms/Spaces/DEFAULT/FAQs+for+firsttime+sailors) and we also have a [recommended kit list](https://www.londonsailing.club/Cms/Spaces/DEFAULT/Recommended+kit+lists+for+sailing+trips).
*Yachts*
We have chartered a 37ft yacht and will sail with a maximum of six. We want everyone to have enough space and a proper chance to be involved in the sailing. If you’re new to yachting, you’ll be pleased to know the boats have heating, hot/cold running water, a bathroom, a kitchen with a fridge, and more than enough electricity to charge your phone!
*Skippers & First Mates*
The crew will be led by one of LSC's fantastic and experienced skippers and depending on the level of experience on board we may also have a First Mate from the club's Take The Helm programme.
*Kit*
No special or expensive sailing kit required! Just bring practical footwear and clothing to suit the weather forecast. Lifejackets are provided. Foul weather gear can be hired locally if needed. Don't forget sunglasses and sunscreen and a change of clothes if the forecast suggests it!
If you are staying on the boat you should bring a sleeping bag and pillow as no bedding is provided. The marina has shoreside showers and toilets, so you are not restricted to using the more limited facilities on board the boat.
*Cost*
This is a non-commercial trip run on a shared-cost basis. The cost is £90 per person (not including the annual membership fee for which you pay separately), which covers the yacht charter, fuel, marina fees, lunch, snacks, and soft drinks on board during the taster day, as well as a £5 contribution to the club's Muck Up Fund which allows us to help skippers on club trips manage the risk of accidental damage caused by trip participants. It doesn’t cover getting yourself to/from the trip or any meals or drinks on shore. We ask for the full amount up front to secure your place. Accommodation on board the night before is available separately at an additional £20.
Note that, because this trip is being advertised via the London Sailing Club’s platforms, any participant who is not already a full member of the Club (which costs £24 per year) will need to join prior to the start of the trip. We're sure you're going to love sailing with us and will want to come along on more trips, but if you decide that you don't want to sail with us after your taster day we will refund your membership fee.
London Sailing Club Ts and Cs apply.

This is a chance to escape the rush of modern life, experience the natural beauty of Mexico and the freedom you can only get from a week on a yacht!
**When:** 3pm 7th February to – 9am 14th February 2026. (Its advised to arrive in Mexico at least a day before the trip to recover from jetlag).
**Where:** We will start and end the trip in La Paz and visit some fantastic bays and islands on the way including Isla San Jose, Isla Espiritu Santo and San Evaristo.
**The yacht:** A 50’ catamaran with all mod cons, spacious accommodation, 4 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with drinks fridge and a lot of sunbathing space on deck! The yacht is licenced in accordance with Mexican laws and fully equipped with all necessary safety equipment and navigational aids. The yacht has space for 12 people on-board, we never expect anyone to be sleeping in the saloon.
**Event Organiser/skippers:** This trip is organised and skippered by Mike Johns/Sailscape and Paul Ryan/Seascape. Both Mike and Paul are commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmasters Offshore with many years’ experience.
**Accommodation:** Accommodation will be in *shared double or twin cabins*. I often get asked if cabins are available for sole occupancy and, of course that’s fine, however I can only accommodate this if you agree to cover the full charter cost of the other space in the cabin.
**Cost:** £1800 per person (in a shared cabin) or £3500/cabin
To be paid as 2 instalments
***Deposit*** : £900 due to confirm your place
