Abstract

In Information Technology one of the most important developments in recent years is that of
manual Softwares are being replaced by online automated web based management Softwares.
Registers and Pens in any organization are replaced by Softwares. In the race of this “Digital
World” starting from a small organization to a large size organization each and every one is
opting computerized Softwares for faster and secure access of data. Using computerized
Software has a lot of benefits that in modern days which cannot be ignored. Consumer
Behavior is an area where we find in detail the requirements of any institution in coming up
with computerized technology.

An effective management Software is a crucial factor in successful working of

Automated Office Management Software in Educational Institutions. Until recently, they
have to work through such inefficient and potentially error-prone means of processing
manuals, just to gather up the information and also to work smoothly. And that’s before they
have passedAutomated Office Management Software on to the management and faculties of
educational institutions, where it was re-entered, hopefully with accuracy.

18MBA216 Page 8
Background of the Project

The marketing is a process which starts with customer and ends with customer. The
Customer has become the main focus and all the marketing strategies revolve around him.
Previously the manufacturer used to make a product and the sell it to the customer without
giving any importance. But the market has totally changed now and based on the customer
taste and preferences manufacturer is producing the products.

But later after LPG(Liberalization Privatization Globalization) there was a vast change in
Indian economy as most of the other national and state companies entered the Karnataka
market and competition creped in and it was Do or Die situation for the local companies. It
was a tough task for the local companies to compete with these national players. The national
and international players were more centric and believed that day by day the taste and
preferences of institutions are changing; accordingly they are playing an important role in
market with new ideas, design and technologies etc. The local companies are also playing an
important role by providing new design, technologies and other schemes to customers.

Suggestions

 Majority of the respondents have given more importance to the price of the product so
company needs to be more cautious towards pricing of the product.

18MBA216 Page 64
 Institutions are ready to change their existing software, hence AarGees can provide
trial version to those institutions and convert them into their clients.

 Most of the respondents are highly concerned with the service maintenance & update
schemes offered by company that influences the buying behavior of customers. So the
company has to come up with special update schemes in their official website, which
may help to retain the customers and attract the new customers.

 According to my survey regarding the after sales service of AarGeesproduct, the

customerswere Satisfied. So, the company has keepserving its clientsbetter.

 Most of the institutions are planning to purchase the software through references. So
company should focus on effective ads through various Media.

 E-admin are having good features and satisfies the institution needs.

 Some of the respondents have expressed SATS which is a registration website

provided by government for free as a software. Aargees must convince the institutes
about their miss-conception.

Conclusion

Analysis shows that there are prospective customers who are in need of office
automation software. Hence company can come up with new technology such as web

18MBA216 Page 65
version. Company is in need of promotional activities in Dharwad district. Many of the
institutions are still handling manually as a result AarGees can target those institutions and
turn them into their clients.

The study helped me to gain valuable insights in Customer Buying Behavior and
Opportunity Analysis about the AarGees Business Solutions software. This project
titled“Marketing of Aargees Business Solution for office administration software ‘e-Admin’
in Dharwad District” has been a knowledge gaining experience for me. By interacting with
the office admins, I have been able to understand that customer’s perception towards
software’s of AarGees Business Solutions.

My whole project was a real exposure by interacting with the prospective or potential
customers. I interacted with the customers and a real learning took place. My interaction with
the customers will be a lifelong remembrance for me. I learned to interact with the unknown
people, which helped me a lot to become extrovert.I studied their behaviors regarding the
product. What they think about the product, what are their expectations, what influence their
buying behavior etc.
