- In a paint by number, each column and row has a list of numbers in order. Each number represents a set of contiguous colored-in squares in that row or column. Rows or columns that have more than one number must have at least one blank square between each set of colored-in sets of blocks.
In this version, the color of the number is the color of the blocks you're filling in. HOWEVER, two separate colors are allowed to touch without a white space in between them so be careful.
