In the sprawling cultural collage that is Los Angeles, few artists embody the city’s layered identity quite like Dr. Woo. A quiet icon in the world of tattooing, Woo’s signature single-needle, black-and-gray linework has etched itself into skin and cultural consciousness alike. But to reduce him to a tattoo artist would miss the breadth of his vision. Woo is, above all, a visual thinker—someone whose practice stretches beyond the needle into photography, design, and a broader artistic dialogue rooted in emotion, precision, and timelessness.
STADE Editorial: Til Death Do Us Part

Gil Perez-Abraham and Ani Mesa are New York-based Latinx actors, writers, and producers who have recently married...each other. Gil played Officer Martinez in The Batman. Ani starred in the film Superior, which premiered at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival. We are both going to be in the movie we wrote, Ani is playing the lead in the film. That is our next big project together. We hope to create films that bring us closer to ending violence faced by Women and Immigrants. Our films seek to empower the underdog.
