In 1947, Mr. Cheng Yuan Kuo founded the Kuo’s Kun Ming Trading Company to import various medical eqipment, including Olympus microscopes and medical devices, which set the foundation for the YuanYu Group.

Today, the YuanYu Group consists of four companies. "YuanYu Industry Co. Ltd. " is the exclusive distributor for the Olympus medical products, OM SYSTEM digital cameras and other consumer products such as Saraya hygiene series and Saicho sparkling tea; "YuanLi Instrument Co., Ltd." dedicated to the industrial and scientific fields, serving as the exclusive distributor for Evident microscopes, industrial endoscopes, high-speed cameras, and Bruker 3D X-ray microscopes; "Kuo's YuanIn Enterprise Co., Ltd." focusing on biochemical testing, veterinary, and rehabilitation medicine, serving as the general agent for various fully automated analyzers and test reagents from Beckman Coulter, biochemical test reagents from Sekisui Medical, as well as veterinary endoscopic surgery related equipment, and rehabilitation medicine such as Summus high-energy laser therapy, shock wave therapy, radio frequency, etc.; and "Ken YuanHsin Instrument Co., Ltd." specializing in nuclear medicine imaging diagnostic drugs and radioimmunoassay test reagents, acting as the agent for brands such as PDRadiopharma Inc. and IZOTOP. "Yuan Tso Co., Ltd. " ventures into new territories, discovering unique and premium spirits worldwide, currently exclusively distributing all WAVE DISTIL products from Belgium.
