Manager @ HSBC | Data Analyst & GIS Specialist
I am a Manager at HSBC through the Global Graduate Program, with a background as a data analyst and GIS specialist. My graduate research bridges data science, econometrics, and geospatial analytics to build data-driven solutions for policy and business challenges.
My projects span causal inference, spatial analysis, and machine learning, including:
- Using spatial analysis and semantic segmentation to enhance walkability around trolley stops in San Diego.
- Analyzing the causal relationship between EV charging infrastructure and EV adoption using instrumental variables.
- Applying machine learning models (KNN, Ridge, Lasso, Random Forests) and spatial analytics to study consumer behavior and public goods distribution.
I work with R, Python, and SQL, and I’m skilled in frameworks such as Tidymodels, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. My geospatial toolkit includes ArcGIS, QGIS, Geopandas, Folium, and Google Earth Engine, with visualization expertise in ggplot2, Matplotlib, and Plotly.
