askmanu is the AI copilot that has one job: keeping your documentation up to date.
- Install the github app
- askmanu listens to new releases
- Opens an issue with the plan to update the documentation + opens a PR with the changes
- PR gets reviewed + merged
- askmanu goes to step 2
askmanu pro-actively listens to new releases in your repo.
When a new release is published, it opens an issue with a documentation update that reflects the changes. The issue is used as the main planning area.
It then start implementing the plan, opening a PR with a chunk of the proposed changes. It keeps PRs small and focused to make reviews easier.
askmanu follows the Diataxis framework to make sure the documentation is the most helpful it can be.
You can also assign a documentation issue to askmanu by adding the docs:askmanu label.
When the bot detects that label it implements the requested changes and opens a PR.
It follows the same best practices as in pro-active PRs.
askmanu doesn't store your code. We read it from github every time we process it. We only share the code with the model provider according to our Privacy Policy
