This is the last release of GEARS that can be compiled with Geant4.10 series. The latest GEARS can only be compiled with Geant4.11. If your Geant4 version is below 11, please use this release of GEARS instead of the latest one.

The attached gears.exe is compiled against Geant4.10.7 (patch 02) in Windows 10 with Visual Studio 2019

Greatly simplified CMake assisted compilation process in Windows. However, you don't have to do it by yourself. You can simply download and run the following executable: gears.exe pre-compiled with Visual Studio 2019 and Geant4-10.7.0 on Windows 10.
