ACCREDITATION

West Virginia University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, which guarantees the quality of the University as a whole. 

WVU's 10-year reaffirmation of accreditation comprehensive review was completed March 31 - April 1, 2025. 

All criteria for accreditation were met, there were no follow-up actions assigned, and the institution’s accreditation has been reaffirmed through 2035.
