Genius unlicensed black-market doctor deals with strange and seemingly impossible medical conditions.
It is an episodic show so there isn't a deep, well developed plot. Each episode manages to deliver a sufficient plot to keep it interesting though. The medical conditions are barely medical, much more like magic which makes the show look a bit ridiculous. (Like a guy who changes completely into a woman in a couple of seconds, because of a psychological trauma and problems with his hormones).
Black Jack is an interesting MC, but the stories are a bit simple and too unrealistic enough to pull you in. Still a nice watch, especially if you like old anime.
