100 year war is just the theme of the anime, the main events of the late 100 year war are similar but that is all. The anime is awkwardly paced most of the time, with so many plot holes and the half baked story developments that didnt feel to have much of a point because of how clumsy they were included are definitely minuses. Even with how weak, clumsy and awkward this anime is, I cant bring myself to hate it and I found myself watching it until the end. If you are free and with nothing to do or watch, this anime is the perfect time killer.
Forgot to add, the best thing about this anime are the after credit's French lessons, so hilarious xD.

The premise of the 100 year war between France & England during the 15th century could've been interesting, but most of the characters aren't compelling. There are fantasy elements and surprisingly lots of blood as well as big breasted females throughout. If you want a different take on a major part of history that has fanservice, fantasy and warfare, then give this a try.

Some of battle are intense and some are like fillers. There were use of comic relieve and fan service (yup nice looking french style clothes and lots of female chars) but I kinda didn't find its effectiveness.
Can't pinpoint its strength but overall its just make for a enjoyable fun watch, maybe its the whole package of middle ages, faeries, alchemy, big battles, schemes and OP females and lots of females with all sizes of chest. Artworks pretty decent and each ep ending French lessons are funny.
