Tabata Hana is a first-year high school student who self-deprecates herself as an ugly girl (busu). She comes to school early morning to do her daily classroom flower exchange. Hana likes this time so much that she takes pleasure in putting a flower on her head, but Ueno Yousuke, the most handsome boy in her class who happens to arrive at school early, sees her doing it. Yousuke has always been curious about the person changing the flowers in the classroom, and when he finds out that it is Hana, the two gradually grow closer. However, the distance between Hana, who refuses numerous opportunities for progress, and Yousuke, who is innocent and ignorant when it comes to love, continues to be difficult to close.

Even though it's labeled as "seinen," I found that nothing has actually changed, except that an F was added before the MC. It's sad that FMC has such low self-esteem and behaves like many other characters from other romantic anime, suffering from a fear of people (100% MC). I expected a little more mature behavior or treatment. Because that behavior ultimately ruins the whole atmosphere and turns it into a cliché, literally. The drawing isn't bad and the animation is average. I liked the OP/ED, except for the overall production, which is already worn out. It's a shame that something new, a combination of unattractive characters with attractive ones, which I would say is still at a good level in terms of beauty, ends up in the same rut as a lot of similar romantic anime. for me 5/10
