The description of this sounds a little odd, but once you get into the series, you start to understand the premise very well. It moves quickly and makes some very unexpected steps. Though through all of this, there's an ever-closing distance between the two characters.
To me, this was done wonderfully. No overly annoying repeats that make you consider stop watching. And it simply flies by.
I know there won't be, but I'd love another season. There's plenty of closure , but I always like to see a sort of "down the road" image of where the characters are.
Worth the watch.

Adorable. Diabetes inducing wholesomeness. The voice acting is top notch, especially Hayamin's performance as Rin, which is amazing. I also really like how it not only continues way past the point where they start dating, but it also starts in high school, but then moves on past it into college, and finally into the their future as adults for a brief moment. I can't really think of any other anime off the top of my head that did that, although I'm sure there are some. But generally it tends to always be in high school mostly, and rarely in college.

For fans of romance and comedy, that can bear through a bit of seemingly random development.
The show is way too rushed during first half. If we take into account first 7 episodes tells the story of 2 years it's reasonable, but the feeling is more like the emotional development is out of nowhere. Girl meets guy and a moment later she's mad in love with him. All presented as a somewhat random comedy.
It gets better in the later half, but the rushed feel stays. If not the great art and animation it would be a below-average show. Overall I'd say it's a mixed bag, worth checking out if you're romance fan.

A very relaxing and sweat high school romance story. The female protagonist uses her acting ability to portray different tropes in this simulation of a harem for the male protagonist as their mean to communicate.

Going into this series and reading the brief synopsis, I thought this was going by the numbers cheesy romance, but this turned into one of the better romcoms I've seen in quite some time. This follows Eiji (male MC) who wants to have a harem and Rin (female MC) who loves to act and she acts different personalities for Eiji. The evolution of their relationship is great... how they start out as friends and develops naturally into more. The voice acting is superb, character development is solid and pacing is great... not to mention has a very good ending. I went into this not expecting much and found a must watch romcom.

Both of these anime aren't very action based and are quite relaxing, therefore i do believe this could be used as a reference for a similar anime.
