Genuinely great, I felt the animation was stepped up a bit and the concert at the end was surprisingly good as well.
Also lots of nice little touches like Birdy's mediocre dancing because she's simply not a real idol. Or how her treatment of Tsutomu is mirrored in how she is treated by her frenemy Nechla. And just generally how both her and Tsutomu act just a little more grown-up than before due to everything that's happened.
All in all, a very promising prelude to season 2. If this is any indication, it's absolutely something to look forward to.
