Lupin and Jigen are surrounded, as usual, as they are trying to escape after a jewelry theft. But somebody shoots at Zenigata and hits him dead on. Lupin learns of the even the next morning in the papers, and Fujiko and Goemon get implicated. However, there's a conspiracy behind it all …
