You’re part action hero, part architect in Block Fortress 2. Pick a planet, build walls and turrets to form a sprawling stronghold, then take on hordes of Goblocks and Zomblocks to protect it. Set proximity mines to blow up sneaky foes and hop on teleporter pads to get behind enemy lines. Reset and rebuild after each quashed invasion—the next wave’s coming!

What we love: All the stuff to play with. Mech-suited soldiers, flamethrower turrets, orbital lasers, a handheld nuke launcher—you’ll unlock a wondrous array of cool gear as you level up. And between rounds, you can kick back in your own cozy, custom-crafted spaceship.

Quick tip: Use wall blocks to build narrow bridges across choke points, then stick turrets underneath them. It’s a great way to annihilate incoming mobs while keeping your defenses safe from melee attackers.

Meet the creator: The Jackson brothers (Connor, Jamie, Miles, and Tom) founded North Carolina–based Foursaken Media to realize their dream of making video games together. The original Block Fortress was inspired by childhood trips to the beach, where the brothers would build elaborate sandcastles and try to fortify them against the rising tide.
