👋 Hi, I’m Sergey Barysiuk
I’m the co-founder and CTO of PandaDoc, where I helped grow a simple idea into a product used by more than 70,000 businesses and into a unicorn company. I’ve spent most of my career at the intersection of engineering, product, and organizational design—building an organization from 0 to 700+ people and leading an R&D team of over 300.
It’s been a lot of experimenting, failing, and figuring things out. I write about what I’ve learned, what I’m still figuring out, and what excites me.
Alongside my work, I advise a few startups and occasionally invest as an angel. I enjoy supporting founders, but I stay hands-on—building side projects, experimenting with new tools, and open-sourcing what I can. Staying close to the craft matters to me.
Outside of work, I’m deeply into fishing. I build my own rods, make lures, compete in tournaments, and escape to the water whenever possible. It’s my way of fully disconnecting—a strategic puzzle rooted in nature instead of screens.
This space is my personal journal. Nothing here represents any company—just my own experiences, reflections, and experiments. If any of it resonates, stick around.
