Steps to Film in Gibsons

A $5000 deposit is required before filming can proceed.

The Film Coordinator will review the application. If approved, further direction and next steps will be provided.

SPFX Application Form

Proof that the Fire Department has been consulted with is required regarding the use of certain special effects. The Fire Department has the right to veto special effects or impose specific conditions.

Notice of Filming Form

Hold Harmless Agreement

Apply for a Business Licence

This application is exclusively for location information and is required in order to film anywhere in Gibsons—public or private.

  • Production to notify the neighborhood of filming a minimum of three business days in advance after approval from the Film Coordinator
