A 1.16.5/1.17 Fabric-only mod that allows players with a certain power to record chat messages into special books.

To get the mod, check its releases, download the JAR file of your version of choice and put it in your mods folder. You can also find the mod on CurseForge and modrinth.

║ Like most (all, as far as I know) Origins addons, this mod runs on Fabric only, and not on Forge. I will not make a Forge port. If you're willing to do so yourself, feel free to make your own fork as long as you give proper credit. ║

The book doesn't have a recipe out of the blue, it has to be added through the datapack that adds and grants the power to players.
