I am a Computer Engineer who graduated with an integrated master's degree at the University of Patras. I am passionate about machine learning, computer vision, and backend development, and I am dedicated to exploring innovative solutions to real-world problems.

I currently work as a Backend Developer at Cognity SA, where I develop and maintain a car leasing and rental web/mobile application. Using PHP and the Laravel framework, I build robust, scalable backend systems to support seamless user experiences for leasing and renting vehicles. My responsibilities include designing APIs, optimizing database performance, and ensuring secure and efficient application functionality.

My thesis focuses on advancing Facial Emotion Recognition through the utilization of Vision Transformers (ViT). The primary goal is to design and implement a real-time facial expression identification system that can be seamlessly integrated into applications using webcam or smartphone cameras.
