Code Folder: '001_reshape_flow2columns.R' takes into compiled output from form Jan 9, 2025 with 407 entries from the data folder.
adds four columns to have a binary variable (0 or 1) for each flow group: Biotic, Physical, Sociocultural, Human writes out: reshaped_1_flowtypes.csv
'002_reshape_byFlowEntry.R' takes in reshaped_1_flowtypes.csv, then:
- rename column names
- filter out test paper entries
- convert wide to long data
- reshape by entries in the form, because there can be multiple rows per paper (vs one per paper)
- get an additional row for each time a coder selected yes, lets do another entry (Flow entry!)
- checking characteristics of the data: unique DOIs (175) but 221 DOI by flow entry - meaning some have more than 1 entry
- added DOI_by_FlowEntry outputs: reshaped_2_byFlowEntry.csv
'003_reshape_byFlow.R' takes in reshaped_2_byFlowEntry.csv, multiple subflows by flow entry and paper.
- further subdivides entries if it has more than one flow TYPE
- it creates an DOI_by_Flow column which is the most unique identifier
- 221 times we entered a flow; but we could have more than one type of flow, so 233 unique entries
MERGE BACK IN THE INTERVENTION EXPANDED DATA 004:
005: NOW we will do the step where we integrate in the data cleaning: **removing rows/papers -
- new 004 : DOIs to really remove
- DOIs to remove now, need to be recoded, print out a table for next phase.
** 006: Adding in fixed data by flow group
DOIs to remove forever:
DOIs that have been recoded and need to be swapped:
DOIs to remove now that need to be recode for publications:
