1️⃣ DeMeta is a privacy protection tool designed to help users control and remove hidden metadata from their files. It allows you to remove metadata, such as location and device details, from images, PDFs, Office documents, audio, and video files before you upload them. The service emphasises privacy by processing most files locally in your browser. Video files are processed temporarily on a server and are permanently deleted immediately after. The goal of this project is to give users more control over their personal data and protect their privacy in the digital world, and enable them to feel comfortable with the level of detail they provide social media and AI platforms with.
