I add a new mode to TomoATT, to perform initial 1D model inversion. 2D eikonal equation and adjoint equation are solved to replaced the original 3D equations, thus reducing the computational cost.
This mode can be activated by setting run_mode to be 4. A new example of eg4_1d_inversion is added in examples. By using the same dataset in eg1-eg3, the 1D model is successfully recovered:
All bugs related to this example have been addressed. If you find any bug related to this new mode, please feel free to tell me.
I will further test this new mode in my following imaging task. Once I think this new mode is well debuged, I will commit a merge request to "main" branch. Thank you.
