S2S-Tool v2.0

S2S-Tool: The U.S. EPA's SPECIATE-to-SMOKE Tool generates GSPRO and GSCNV files that are used by SMOKE to generate gridded emissions for photochemical modeling. This Tool performs the functionality of the Speciation Tool, but adds valuable state-of-science updates and accommodates next-generation chemical mechanisms, such as the Community Regional Atmospheric Chemistry Multiphase Mechanism. Updates include processing of semi-volatile primary organic carbon emissions, transparent and automated mechanism-specific mapping tools to translate explicit species to mechanism-specific species, compatibility with SPECIATE v5.3, and other features.
