I'm Michael Udonna Egbuzobi, a Data Scientist with a passion for the intersection of business management and data-driven innovation. With over three years of business experience and two years of data science expertise, I bring a unique blend of operational management and analytical skills to drive impactful solutions.

About Me

🎓 I hold a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Wolverhampton and have a background in Animal Science. My journey began as a farm manager, where I mastered the intricacies of running a successful business and developed a strong foundation in strategic thinking and problem-solving. My mission is to merge business acumen with cutting-edge technology, leveraging data to inform decisions and unlock new opportunities in today’s dynamic world.

👀 My vision is to continuously improve, becoming the best version of myself while contributing to forward-thinking organizations. I'm driven by curiosity and a passion for innovation, always seeking ways to use data to create actionable strategies that propel businesses forward.

🌱 I recently wrapped up my data science internship with @data glacier, where I worked on multiple projects, including an NLP hate speech detection project using transformers.

⚡ Fun fact: I am a health and gym enthusiast. I continuously push the boundaries, eager to learn new things and upskill.

  • I became a CompTIA Certified Data Analyst on 5/01/2025. I went back to the basics in order to deepen my understanding of data analysis fully and continue expanding my career.

  • Finalist in the SAS Curiosity Cup 2024: Ranked 7th out of 15 teams in the final round of a global competition featuring 107 teams. Utilized SAS Viya, an AI and analytics software, to address traffic accidents in the Netherlands, representing one of only two teams from the University of Wolverhampton.

  • School Representative at the University of Wolverhampton: Acted as a liaison between students and faculty, representing the student body and contributing to university decision-making processes.

  • Successfully developed and deployed Machine learning Flask applications, showcasing end-to-end machine learning models and web interfaces.

  • Farm Management: Led successful business operations in agriculture, combining hands-on management experience with a problem-solving mindset.
