Since a couple of time, the GUI of Camel Crusher is known for being broken on Ableton.
The audio engine is still working underneath, so I mapped Camel Crusher's knobs to a custom audio rack :
You will easily see that I mapped ON/OFF buttons to a traditional CV Ableton knob, from value 0 to 127 :
- The Distorsion ON/OFF
- The Filter ON/OFF
- The Compressor ON/OFF
- The Phat ON/OFF
- The Master ON/OFF
Those 5 knobs behave like this :
- From value 0 to 63 = The switch is OFF.
- From value 64 to 127 = The switch is ON.
- Step 1 : Having an Ableton 11 licence. Download the whole project.
or simply run the following command on your CLI :
git clone https://github.com/maitreverge/camel_crusher_ableton.git
- Step 2 : Unzip the file or just open the folder, and open the file camel_crusher_ableton_11.als
Click here if you're having trouble unzip file on Windows
Click here if you're having trouble unzip file on Mac
- Step 3 : Saving the Audio Rack to your library.
- Step 4 : Making sure it's saved into your library for your own future projects.
Despite my efforts, feedback would be greatly appreciated, from people running Ableton on Windows and/or macOS.
