* Modify demo_periodic_gep.py so that it also demonstrates the use of two overlapping periodic boundary conditions.

* Add missing scatter_forward().

* Remove shebang.

* Fix missing comm

* Change FE name

* Conform to the PEP 8 style guide.

* Add demo_periodic_gep.py to the CI.
