this is heavily inspired from lua (hence the name crescent :3), and will thus be similar to lua in both the syntax, c api, and the internal structure in some areas, but with stuff i think could be improved or are kinda cool to add.

and with source code that is (at the very least, slightly) less painful to read or confusing. i can't say mine is much better, tbh.
