just got home; didn't see the fix for this in pending pr's @ljharb so I just made it.
appears bash is aggressively using builtin printf which is probably why the argument length limit was only impacting zsh shell when trying to echo out the index.tab file with nvm_echo. this change should be compatible with any "posix" shell.
