Also Happened With Me, Right Now.

Github Copilot is an amazing product, and the services it offers are fabulous....
But, because of this issue, the doubt is arising, as I do want to keep using the Copilot Pro by paying money after the free trial is over, but if it has an issue with the free trial, then what if it doesn't work properly when I start paying the money? What if the premium models don't become available in my JetBrains IDE or any other arises?
Aren't these valid doubts and questions, because there are users who are raising these issues in discussions after subscribing to the Copilot Pro?

I had raised a ticket about this on GitHub Support. The first ticket was submitted; it went unanswered. So I created another one, finally. After a month, no support member reached out to me or provided guidance. He apologised for the delay and asked me to go ahead and subscribe to the 30-day free trial, even though it indicates that payment is required first.
I proceeded with activating the Copilot Pro, and I got charged for the $5.81 becuase of card payment issue, but as a goodwill gesture, he waived off my bill. I am delighted by this gesture.
So, finally, my issue has been resolved, and I am satisfied now. You guys also raise tickets, and if they go unanswered, raise the ticket again by closing the old one.

We all face the same issue. Looks like intentional by the github team, otherwise such a "bug" can't be there that long.. First time in my life I see something that serious in such a big organization.
In simple words: They stole my credit card info lying on the 30 days free trial. Never coming back

what the heck is wrong with this github copilot, first it keeps telling me I have gotten access to github copilot pro free trial, then the next minute it goes around telling access denied.

I used github mobile, paid via UPI and got copilot pro for a month, it worked initially, now after 5 days it says I'm on free version and asking me to upgrade to copilot pro.

Just added free trial and it is not showing on my account at all now.

I have noticed a message from my bank, the transaction was really failing.

Problem is, the free trial option disappears when you solve the issue, so you either pay and don't get the 30-day free trial or you can't sign up.

I wanted to try it, when converted in my currency it's a significant amount of money, so I would like to see how it works before actually spending that much.

same issue today. Just subscribe with the intent to use 30 days trial, now I have copilot free and github tried to bill me 10$ already -.-

My 30 day trial is not working as my AI assistand in my V.S.Code enviroment

I have the same issue, totally worthless if they cannot fix this. It doesnt feel professional at all. I have never had it, just activated the github copilot pro and then when I check the settings is says Im on the free plan, while paypal has done a transaction for the free-30-days trial. If the trial aint even working, I aint spending one dollar on this product.
