"switcher" seems kind of stupid...

"Ctrl + Alt + Shift + Right" = { switcher = "all_windows" }
"Ctrl + Alt + Tab" = { switcher = "current_workspace" }

Switcher is too simple...
Maybe portal? It continue thematic of Rift.
How you come up "Rift"?

maybe... also if you guys are open to it, try out this pr and see how the different cmd+tab style uis feel.

there are "switchers" "portals" whatever for windows in active workspace, all windows, and all workspaces.

should add a nice ui element and hopefully allow people to drop things like alt-tab-macos as a third party app. also rift's modal shows up way faster as we keep track of a lot more state and tbh implementation is just better

Have you thought of like being able to switch using label hints like for example vimium (which is a chrome extension, lets you do this bring f to bring up label hints for any links or clickable items, and you just type the key or the sequence of keys. I am bit biased towards all keyboard first ui 😄
I don't think any other tiling manager do this.

scroll has something like the label hints to focus windows.
