Found this gem lurking in git. The changes required to support a modern Pypy out of the box look pretty straight-forward, and the benefits to symbolic simulation, my original interest in the project, are profound.
If anyone else expresses interest, I'll take a stab at a new patchset for master and see if we can't offer the best of both worlds.
