I'm Aidan, and I'm currently a Software Engineer at Google working on large-scale storage infrastructure with Google Colossus. I completed my PhD in Bioinformatics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, focusing on developing scalable algorithms to process large-scale genomics datasets.
My current projects include helping maintain the Biostrings R package. I occasionally write blog posts about the things I've been up to lately, which you can check out below!
