Will this work? Whenever I use lix locally for either of my things it just crashes in different ways from CppNix... Can't wait for a proper rewrite of this crap.

Lix will work just as well as Nix for CI purposes. I mean, the action passed after all.

The installer action has been working without a hitch since I made the action. Even through the updates of the underlying Lix.

This AFAICT won't change any of the test semantics, as the shell already defines a specific Nix-compatible runtime to use, and all "imperative" checks use nix-shell.

I should maybe have added the mention “as requested by @piegamesde elsewhere”, to the PR body. I thought they would have handled the PR quickly earlier today, so I left the PR body empty, sorry.

At present, Lix is slower and uses more memory. Don't understand the point of this.
