🌸 Saku (咲く - "to bloom") is the open-source website builder powered by interactive Widgets. Its the place to express and monetize your creativity.
Your creativity. Your page. Your story.
- Living Widget Grid - A dynamic, customizable way to showcase your work - more flexible than a Link in Bio, more intuitive than a Website Builder.
- Drag, Drop, Create - Build your digital page as naturally as rearranging apps & widgets on your home screen.
- Structured Freedom - A grid system that keeps your page polished while letting your creativity shine.
Your content. Your audience. Your success.
- Fair & Transparent - You earn directly, we simply provide the tools.
- Multiple Revenue Streams - Sell products, offer memberships, and receive donations.
- Effortless & Powerful - Turn passion into profit and monetize on your terms without friction or compromise.
Your presence. Your community. Your opportunity.
- Directory, Not Feed - Be found for your creativity, not for gaming engagement metrics.
- Authentic Connections - Network with peers, clients, and collaborators who truly value your work.
- Opportunities That Find You - Let the right projects and partnerships come to you.
Express without limits. Monetize on your terms. Discover real connections.

The majority of Saku is open-source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPLv3) or any later version. You can find the full license here.
AGPLv3 ensures that even hosted modifications stay open-source, preventing companies from using the code without giving back.
As a solo founder, I want the project to live beyond just me - but I also can't afford to give everything away for free, because, well, living ain't free. All my MIT-licensed open-source libraries live in the community repo.
Time spent solely on coding:
Most parts of the codebase are AGPLv3. But branding, marketing, and other non-code assets aren't - to protect the project's identity and keep future options open.
