OS: Windows 11
Task: Reproduced MS MARCO Passage Ranking – BM25 baseline following the Anserini documentation.
Results:
MRR@10: 0.18741227770955546
QueriesRanked: 6980
Notes
Indexing and retrieval completed successfully using Anserini.
Evaluation was performed using the provided MS MARCO evaluation script.
On Windows, the trec_eval wrapper bundled with Anserini reported an OS/architecture limitation; however, this did not affect reproduction of the official MS MARCO BM25 baseline results, which match expected values.
