Please review the notes and merge, if you are okay with them.

This came out of the OSSEU discussion on onboarding.

I'm not sure what type of review you are looking for. Is it just for ideas?

Where do people land? - first point of contact: Webite
Need a page for onboarding
Community -> Get Started Here

This makes sense to me. Website is misspelled.

Start with tools used by CHAOSS and communication channels

Sure. I think that it would be helpful to also include text that is aimed at describing a welcoming environment. Something like:

https://libraries.io/team

Describe structure and purpose of community
Within the detailed description, of how the community works, point to the correct tools

Yes, this clearly needs to be done and as simply as possible. Is anyone good at making graphics?

Community->Events
In future, maybe have a graphical representation of how to join and work in community
Next Steps:

flush out the "Get Started Here" page on GitHub before moving it to the website.

@germonprez thanks for the review.
I fixed the spelling.
I added you, @rpaik, and @ildikov as reviewers, so one of you can merge if you are okay with this.

We might want to replace https://chaoss.community/about/infrastructure/ with the onboarding page.

Do we have an official onboarding page for CHAOSS?

Not yet. At OSSEU, we talked about creating one and this pull request contains a rough outline of what we think it should contain and how it should be structured.

Got it. I'm happy to work on this. Should we wait for the reviews and then move this discussion to the list? Perhaps it's something we can take care of on the OSS Metrics list and then share to the Software list. Not sure the best logistics for this.
