This repository contains a simple CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) application built using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. This application allows you to perform basic CRUD operations on a collection of data.

Follow these steps to get the project up and running on your local machine.

Before you begin, ensure you have met the following requirements:

• Node.js installed on your machine.
• MongoDB installed and running locally or have a MongoDB connection string ready.

1. Clone this repository to your local machine:

   git clone https://github.com/christine-lehmann/CRUD-app.git

2. Navigate to the project directory:

   cd your-repo

3. Install the project dependencies:

   npm install

4. Create a .env file in the root directory and set your MongoDB connection string:

   MONGODB_URI=your-mongodb-connection-string
   

1. Start the Node.js server:

   npm start

2. Open your web browser and go to http://localhost:3000 to access the CRUD application.

• Create: Add new data entries.
• Read: Retrieve and view existing data entries.
• Update: Modify existing data entries.
• Delete: Remove data entries.
