Databases Project - Supermarket Management

Introduction

The project consists in designing a database for an application that manages supermarkets. It was divided in 4 deliveries:

1st delivery: Create the Entity-Relationship model and define a set of integrity restrictions.
2nd Delivery: Convert the Entity-Relationship model to a Relational model, specify some queries in relational algebra and SQL.
3rd delivery: Create a web application using PHP and HTML implementing some queries.
4th delivery: Refactor queries in order to increase performance (using indexes) and creation of a multidimensional model (SSAS) to perform data analytics.

To run the 3rd delivery you need the following tools installed:
