Dan,
I forked your qc repo and I think made very nice improvements in functionality (even if they came from a very small number of lines of code). I think the current status is not yet "good enough" to be pulled, but I'm making the request anyway so if you have spare time during the weekend you could:

  • get directly involved in what I am doing
  • just participate in the discussion (see my commits - you might want to join the conversation)
  • at least familiarize yourself with what I am doing for when I'll made the "real" pull request.

Printing the user supplied seed in case of failures
make them pass - making it more pythonic (permission vs forgiveness)
implementation was going to recurse forever.
a bug that caused repeated (infinite) recursion in some
circumstances. This patch avoid it.
accordingly (added also a TODO item in README)
maximum recursion depth exceeded in the stack for too much
recursion.
