There is a apparently a miminum of 2.0 seconds (see readme). If that really applies, I think the whole MR that should "add support for sub-second refresh rates eg. 0.5s" would not work at all. What do I miss? |

@mpas97 Sub-second refresh was considered at first, but later dropped because of concerns it might overload larger clusters. It was also important to keep the interface responsive without locking up. The change that remained is allowing the refresh interval to be a float, so you still get more granular control, but with a minimum of 2.0s. You can find the discussion here: #3494 |

Ok understand. But then this MR summary /problem / usage example should be updated accordingly. That is just super confusing and it will also be linked in release notes etc. |

Summary
Enforces a minimum refresh rate of 2.0 seconds and migrates refresh rate configuration from integer to float32 for better precision and consistency.
Problem
Users could set refresh rates below 2 seconds, which could overwhelm the Kubernetes API server and cause performance issues.
