  • do we really need to use C++ API to format types from Rust log frontend or would it be enought to always write strings -> explain what is the effort for this at Rust side and what would be overall benefit of doing it
    => Problem: Tooling for DLT Parsing will expect a chunked DLT payload to have certain types at certain chunk

  • can log crate be certified to ASIL-B (assuming we drop above requirement)
  • how do we do log crate fork for modifications and certification - do we try to only patch existing code base or do we remove from it all parts that we don't use and keep bare minimum together with our changes?
