Thank you for the PR. I am currently focusing on refactoring the codebase (see the open draft PR) to better separate the scenes from the core logic and - given that the free time I can dedicate to Spix is limited - cannot think about the pick click PRs yet. I do see there is demand for that though and I'm also working on a plan to be able to dedicate more time to Spix...

One thought I have for now is that Spix is also used a lot in embedded projects, so I'm not sure the "hold down a key to enable the picker" logic works for those use cases. I do hope to find some time soon to think about where I want the overall architecture of the library to go and how to fit in these item-finding proposals...
