The crux of the changes in this PR are in pkg/text/text.go.

We effectively remove leading line breaks \n from the public text functions.
We also ensure they have consistent ending line breaks.

All other changes in this PR are related to fixing the printed output.
This is to accommodate the underlying changes to the text package.

NOTE: I've manually tested most of the functionality exposed by the CLI to ensure output prints correctly, and in some cases, I've ended up fixing existing issues I've noticed along the way.
