There are a couple issues I've noticed so far. (1) Although the bootstrap script exits with a message indicating success, the libiconv install fails. (2) Afterwards when trying to install things (e.g., gnupg2) I end up getting errors like Can't resolve dependency "perl5303-core"

When asking about the libiconv issue on the users list, someone pointed me to #267 which also includes some changes to libcxx and other stuff. I'm guessing that that PR will fix my issues too, but I'm still in the process of verifying.

I believe my last commit covers this PR and is now obsolete
