clbre is a fork of calibre with the aim of stripping out the AI integration.
I hope to keep it up to date, but for now this is for my own purposes.

calibre is an e-book manager. It can view, convert, edit and catalog e-books in all of the major e-book formats. It can also talk to e-book reader devices. It can go out to the internet and fetch metadata for your books. It can download newspapers and convert them into e-books for convenient reading. It is cross platform, running on Linux, Windows and macOS.
For more information, see the calibre About page.
See the User Manual.
Remember that the AI sections should not apply to clbre. If you find anything that relates to AI then please let me know.
I'm working on it!
Unless your change is AI related, you really should be working on calibre directly.
Please report bugs in clbre to clbre issue tracker.
I do not want additional work to be placed on the upstream project due to my changes. If it turns out to be a bug in the upstream project then it will be escalated.
Please do support calibre. I am stripping out the AI components because I have a personal dislike of using AI in a tool like this, but I am well aware that it takes a lot of time and effort to develop software like this.
I (grimthorpe) am not taking donations at this time.
calibre is a result of the efforts of many volunteers from all over the world. If you find it useful, please consider contributing to support its development. Donate to support calibre development.
