As stated in issue #82, packages written for DSM 6 are not compatible with DSM 7:

DSM 7 packages must be marked with os_min_ver > 7.0
This maker DSM 7 package incompatible with DSM 6

So filtering has to work with two different platforms:

DSM <= 6
DSM >= 7


          Filtering differently on DSM <7 and >=7
