The curl command is not working on debian:

sudo curl -sL https://prosody.im/files/prosody-debian-packages.key -o /etc/apt/keyrings/prosody-debian-packages.key

Hum ...

Cause there is no such follder /etc/apt/keyrings

I changed it to /usr/share/keyrings

I don't remember its details but Debian 11 doesn't work after 2.0.10078-1 for me.

Maybe the handbook skips Debian 11 and recommends Debian 12 as the oldest version because Debian 11 is already the oldstable and Debian 13 will be released in very short time

I just tested it and it seems fine for me.

If the recommended version are Ubuntu 22.04 (or newer) or Debian 12 (or newer) then lua5.3 may be recommended lua.

Nope, just the default install. Will try that.

Just did all good following the steps from the PR using lua 5.2.

We have never used 5.3 that's why I don't want to put it in.
I will take a look at the following weeks for a way to move to 5.4 as this is what is recommended for the latest prosody.
