Hi there 👋, I'm Kevin Townsend

  • 🔭 I’m currently taking break from tech work, but am working on side projects.
  • Formerly I worked at Google, where I worked on several projects including the TPU.
  • My PhD work was on high performance computing on FPGAs.
  • I enjoy C++ and SystemVerilog and tolerate many other langages including Python, Javascript, Java and Scala.
  • 🌱 I’m currently learning Docker and SQL as well as some web development skills.
  • 💬 Ask me about multiport memories on FPGAs they're really cool.
